Dieses Buch war für mich eine echte Überraschung. Es gibt nun wirklich genug Bücher über Marktforschung. Und dann noch eines von einem 'Laien'. Wenn Sie sich mit der Entwicklung neuer Geschäftsideen befassen und Sie auf die Beurteilung von Ihrer Zielgruppe angewiesen sind, dann schützt Sie dieses Buch vor den typischen Fehlern bei der Bewertung des Kundenfeedbacks. Übrigens auch ein gutes Buch für Finanzinvestoren! Der Titel ist ein wenig irreführend. Es geht ja gerade darum den typischen Mutter Test zu vermeiden. Mütter finden ja meistens alle Ideen von ihren Kindern irgendwie toll und deren Urteile sind deshalb für die Ideenbewertung besonders wenig hilfreich. Der Autor schlägt dafür deutlich bessere und durchaus pragmatische Wege vor. Für sehr erfahrene und abgeklärte Marktforscher und Marketingexperten vielleicht nicht viel Neues. Aber so komprimiert immer mal wieder lohnenswert zu lesen. Vor allem die ersten Kapitel. Kostet ja nicht die Welt

It clearly shows mistakes that are often made (e.g. starting by describing your product idea - instead you should start by asking about the customer's ways of doing things), and helps you avoid biasing people. I think the ideas presented here can be applied pretty broadly in business in general, and yes, they will help you get useful information from everyone, even your Mom, even if she doesn't want to hurt your feelings.
Habe dieses Buch auf Grund einer Empfehlung gelesen und kann es jedem Gründer empfehelen. Bevor man sein Business losstartet sollte man dieses Buch unbedingt lesen und beherzigen!

Fun to read, without the usual story telling, also with some practical advice's, definitely a good lecture for a wannabe Entrepreneur.
Eigentlich werden sehr einfache Regeln angewendet, die aber durchaus auch für erfahrene Unternehmer / Startups hilfreich sein können. Das Büchlein ist für Praktiker geschrieben und sehr anschaulich in seinen Beispielen. Ich selbst nutze es in meinen Kursen zum 'Business Model Generation' als Einstieg ins Thema Testen von Geschäftsmodellen. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

Überzeugende Beispielsgespräche, die die These Belegen. Die These ist recht einfach und fast mit dem Titel schon gesagt. Die vielen einzelnen Aspekte, die im Gespräch mit dem Kunden wichtig sind, werden gut ausgeführt.
